The effervescent looking Deepika Padukone is sure to make it big thanks to her confidence, her wide smile and her bright-looking face. Deepika hails from Mangalore, Karnataka and is a 21 year old dynamite.

The supermodel Deepika Padukone has been the favorite of ad-agencies for quite some time featuring in commercials like Liril, Close-Up and Limca. Deepika Padukone was the cover-face of the Maybelline. She also modeled for Kingfisher and graced the Kingfisher Swimsuit calendar for 2006.
The vivacious Deepika Padukone starred in the video ‘Naam hain Tera’ for Himmesh Reshammiya’s pop album ‘Aap Ka Suroor.’ Deepika debuted in a Kannada film called ‘Aishwarya.’ The film did quite well and Deepika was hailed as the next big thing to hit the Bollywood marquee.

Deepika Padukone is linked with Ranbir Kapoor(Rishi Kapoor's son) as well as with the socialite Nihar Pandya. The vivacious Deepika reportedly left Ranbir again to get back with Nihar. Deepika denies the news and says that she is 'just friends' with Nihar. When probed about Ranbir, Deepika still repeats the statement. Gimme a break! I think with almost everyone in Bollywood(with the exception of Kareena and Bipasha) claiming that they are just friends with their partners, then Bollywood would be the best example of platonic relationship!
Apart from the above cliche, Deepika is also at target by journos, media eagles and the film fraternity that Deepika is high handed and Miss. Snobbish. Well, Deepika does not look
like one and I have not closely interacted with her or read much on that count. But we can give her the benefit of the doubt. Deepika may be the object of envy by a lot of people who think that the gal from outside Bollywood is getting plum offers. Anyway the lady has got the glitz, the glam and the nerve to make it big.
