Ayesha Takia-The Hot Property

Ayesha Takia has been facing the camera since she was merely 3 years old. She starred in the Complan ad with the child actor Shahid Kapur. She proudly declared in her enthusiastic voice- ‘I am a complan girl’ enticing children to say yes to their mothers while confronted with a Complan drink. Ayesha had done some 60 ads during her childhood.

When she hit her teens, the cute looking Ayesha began to feature in Falguni Pathak videos. She was only 15 at that time. Her delectable beauty in the video ‘Meri chunar Udd Udd Jaye’ was the stuff crushes are made off.

Ayesha Takia then began to shake her perky butt with wild abandon in the sexy ‘shake it daddy’ video. The video became popular and made the filmdom sit up and take notice.

Socha Na Tha was supposed to be Ayesha’s debut film. However that movie ran into delays and Taarzan: The Wonder Car released first making it her official debut film. Ayesha Takia was the recipient of the Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004 for Taarzan. Taarzan the wonder car turned out to be Taarzan the Blunder Car.Ayesha indeed looked fresh and bewitchingly sexy in the movie. In fact, she was the only bright spot in the dud movie. Socha Na Tha too bombed and for young Ayesha, it was a pure case of Socha Na Tha’ that the movie would flop.

Ayesha debuted in her first South Indian movie, Super, in the year 2005 opposite Nagarjuna. Super did reasonably well, and the music ruled the countdown for months. The movie was dubbed into Hindi, called ‘Robbery’ and like in most cases with dubbed films, this was suffered badly.

Ayesha Takia is used to speaking only English but due credit should be given to her, because she made it a point to learn Hindi and Telegu for her roles. The result is evident as not many will be able to say that she could not speak Hindi at one point of time. However her share of flops continued as she shared some of the worst films ever made-Dil Maange More, Shaadi No.1, Home Delivery, Salaame-e-ishq and Kya Love Story Hai.

One movie that really did the jigs for Ayesha Takia was the movie Dor, released in 2006. The movie directed by Nagesh Kukunoor has been claimed by many as one of the finest films made. Made in a shoe-string budget, the movie did wonders for her. Ayesha Takia gave her career best performance as a widowed Rajasthani girl living in a joint family. Ayesha Takia won the Zine Cine Critics Award for Best Actress for Dor. Ayesha also won the Star Screen Award Best Actress Award (critics) and Stardust Best Supporting Actress Award for Dor. Truly, the movie got Ayesha Takia in the mainstream list of favorite actresses. Dor converted Ayesha Takia from just another starlette to a polished actress.

The recently released movie Fool and Final released on June 1, 2007 has also turned out to be a flop. Critics have massacred the movie and rightfully so, because the movie was quite dull and insipid in terms of story, dialogue, performances and humur. . The multi-starrer film Fool and Final directed by choreographer Ahmed Khan, was a frame by frame copy of the cult film ‘Snatch.’ In order to know more about the films and performances of Ayesha Takia in various movies, you can go to http://stormyreviews.blogspot.com/search/label/Bollywood

Ayesha Takia recently made film headlines when she lost out on Aamir Khan’s new film Kajri, the remake of the South Indian hit Kajri. Her role is reportedly replaced by Asin.

Future releases of Ayesha Takia:

De Taali (2007)

No Smoking opposite John Abraham. Ayesha has a double role in the movie. (2007)

Sunday(2007)

Blood Brothers(2008)

Main aur Mrs. Khanna(2008)

Yahan ke Hum Sikandar(2008)

Alladin and the Mystery of the Lamp as Princess Jasmine(2008)

Ayesha Takia-The Wonder Girl

Personally

Ayesha Takia is a sheer head turner. One of the prettiest looking girls in Bollywood, she is both saucy and spunky. Ayesha was born on April 10th 1986 which makes her all of 21. Her birth place is Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The gorgeous Ayesha Takia is one of the most desirable ladies in Bollywood, especially due to her modest nature and her chirpy vivaciousness. In an industry which is bereft with people throwing tantrums and giving starry nakhras, here is one girl who likes to walk down the simple lane of life.

Ayesha is one diva with strong principles. Till now, she has struck to them and in the process has lost some roles but in the end she has had the last laugh. Ayesha Takia has stuck to her ‘No smooching’ and ‘no exposure’ policy in her contract which hinders most producers from giving her work. However she is complaining because she has her share of fans that love her and swear by her.

Acting is her adrenalin. If not acting, then she would probably laze around. Ayesha Takia owes her principles and disciplined lifestyle to her modest upbringing and middle class background. She values money and has tremendous amount of respect and awe for people who are self-made and level-headed. This is one of the many qualities which has attracted her to her long standing boyfriend and businessman Farhan Azmi. He is a restaurateur and owner of Koyla Restaurant in Mumbai.

Ayesha Takia, hails from a mixed family. Her mother, Farida; is half Britiish and half Marathi while her father Nishit Takia, is Gujarati. Ayesha Takia has a younger sister known as Natasha. Ayesha has been living in Shreenivas building in Chembur for over 15 years before shifting to Bandra’s Pali Hill residence in the year 2000. Incidentally, Ayesha Takia in the year 2006 was amongst the top 10 on the listing of India's 50 most desirable women alive in a poll conducted by Zoom, an Indian TV channel

Aishwarya rai-The sex appeal of the most beautiful woman in the world

Erotically speaking:

Aishwarya is a true blue diva. She does not have to expose to look sexy. Though she is flawlessly beautiful, there are many who criticize that she does not have the raw, sexy appeal in her. She is too perfect, too plastic. You just cannot imagine Aishwarya with a pimple, having a blemish, passing wind, sneezing, burping etc. But the truth is she does all of these, after all she is a human being and a ravishing human being at that.

Aishwarya has maintained her dignity and not really succumbed to unneccessary exposure 'desperately' just for the heck of seeking her share of limelight. However Aishwarya has engaged in erotic love-making scenes onscreen in movies like Shabd and Misstress of Spices. Though the love-making scenes in both the movies were fairly long, Aishwarya did not expose as much as her cleavage, but still the scenes were aesthetically appealing and sensuous. Aishwarya's slim figure, feminine grace, tender caresses and orgasmic expression set the screen fire in both the love-making scenes

There is a subtle innocene and virgin-like in her eroticism which is passionately attractive. Aishwarya can flirt with her eyes and her girly giggles and throaty laughter. Aishwarya's blue and green eyes are the talk of the world! There were also a small controversy over her on-screen smooch scene with Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2. There is also a sensuous scene of Aishwarya emerging from the waters in the forthcoming release Hollywood movie The Last Legion, opposite Colin Firth. In the movie, Aishwarya exposes her feminine curves and her cute, perky butt in a dress made almost see-thru, as it gets drenched when she rises above the waters.

Aishwarya is truly a woman who radiates erotica through her eyes, her grace, her giggles and expressions rather than suggestively shaking her butt and heaving her bosom. In the sexometer: we can rate her top three assets as:
1. Eyes: The most beautiful eyes in the world! What else is required?
2. Her silky lustrous hair.
3. Her feminine grace

Aishwaya feminine aura and her big beautiful eyes can be attractively arresting...Let us look at the expression filled beauty of Ash through the frames of Shabd.

Aishwarya Rai-Beautiful, Bright and Brilliant

Aishwarya Rai-Beautiful, Bright and Brilliant

Aishwarya Rai-Beauty at her feet!

Personally

Aishwarya Bachchan is the highest paid actress in India. Before tying the knot with actor Abhishek Bachchan, the whole country knew her as Aishwarya Rai. She was born on November 1st, 1973. She is the daughter-in-law of the most successful Indian actor ever-superstar Amitabh Bachchan. She is currently aged 33.

Aishwarya was crowned Miss World in the year 1994. She has also acted in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and English films. She was born in Mangalore, Karnataka. Her parents are Krishnaraj Rai, a marine engineer and Vrinda Rai, a writer. She heralds from the Bunt community of Mangalore.

Aishwarya has done her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir at Santacruz, Mumbai. She has done her college from Ruparel College in Matunga. Aishwarya was enthusiastic about being an architect when modeling came her way. In fact, she used to do modeling part-time. Aishwarya’s strikingly beautiful face and her lithe figure charmed many as she featured in advertisements and got noticed. She participated in the 1994 Miss India Contest, and was crowned Miss World, second to Sushmita Sen who was Miss Universe. Films were the next logical steps with producers making a beeline to have the beautiful Aishwarya Rai in their films.

Aishwarya dated two Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. The relationship with both the actors ran into rough weather. Aishwarya did not approve of Salman Khan’s alleged volatile behaviour. There were also reports of Salman afflicting physical abuse on her. As a result, she walked out of the relationship. The media then had field day writing about the relationship of Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi. Though Vivek was much in love with Aishwarya, she never approved of him talking about the relationship in the media. There were rumours of the relationship dying down and it did following the super-flop Kyon Ho Gaya Na. The movie was quite aptly titled because after all it was the case of ‘Kyon..Flop Ho Gaya Na.”

Soon after the relationship ended with Vivek Oberoi, there were rumors of a relationship brewing between Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. Soon the rumors and speculations were laid to rest when a formal engagement between the two was announced on January 14, 2007. It is believed that Aishwarya always had a soft corner for Abhishek, which nurtured into love, that later culminated into marriage. The run-up from the engagement to the marriage was the hot topic with media in the first half of 2007. It is said that the marriage of Abhi-Ash was the biggest celebrity event in 2007. The marriage however was a private event at the famous Bachchan bungalow ‘Prateeksha’ where only a chosen few attended.

Professionally

Aishwarya debuted in Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film ‘Iruvar’ where she starred with Mohanlal. She entered Bollywood only to make a debacle out of her debut film, ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya(also known informally as ‘Aur Flop Ho Gaya and Aur Public So Gaya). Her third film ‘Jeans’ in Tamil which was latter dubbed into Hindi was a commercial success and critically acclaimed. The Hindi dubbed version was a super flop. You can safely say that Aishwarya’s ‘Jeans’ tore when the critics ripped them apart. Producer Shanker’s(Shrunker’s) Jeans did not impress the Oscar jurists because they only wear tuxedos. Jokes apart, Aishwaya’s Jeans still got her first Filmfare Best Actress Award for the same film. Aishwayra Rai had two more superhits Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) and for Taal in the same year. She won the Filmfare Best Actress Award for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Aishwarya Rai was on and off Hindi films, appearing for a short role in Mohabbatein in the year 2000. She played herself in the film-a plastic ghost! Mohabbatein was a Hindi version of Casper, the lovable ghost. The same year, she was in ‘Josh’ as Shahrukh’s twin sister in Josh. Aishwarya resurfaced as ‘Paro’ in the 2002 hit Devdas, one of the most costly movies of recent times, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the bearded maverick. Aishwarya again won the Best Actress award Filmfare award in Devdas. The film was a turning point in her career when Devdas was screened at Cannes Film Festival. The western world began to take notice of her beauty and talent. Soon Aishwarya found herself delving her fingers in some Hollywood projects. The year 2003 saw Aishwarya Rai featuring in a critically acclaimed Bengali film Choker Bali, an adaptation of a novel of the same name by Rabindranth Tagore.

The Time Magazine in 2004 chose Aishwarya Rai as one of the "100 Most Influential People." Aishwarya had the ‘time’ to appear as the cover face of the Time Magazine in 2003. Aishwarya Rai was also the guest on the Late Show with David Letterman and 60 Minutes Profile. She was also the guest on Oprah’s “Women Across the Globe.

Aishwarya Rai starred in Raincoat in the year 2004. The ‘Raincoat’ was drenched wet in the box-office. In the same year, Aishwarya Rai did a negative role in ‘Khakee,’ which till date, some believe is her best performance. She also did a tri-lingual movie ‘Bride and Prejudice,’ based on Jane Austen’s novel ‘Pride and Prejudice.’ The film did not work in India as people do not appreciate a pseudo-English film parading as cross-over. People cross over from such theatres and love their Aishwarya doing her usual song and dance, which she did quite successfully in ‘Kajra Re’ the superhit item number from the film Bunty and Babli. Bunty and Babli released in 2005 featured Aishwarya Rai as an item girl in the item song but incidentally it was the main stay of the film. Though the movie was about two thieves, Aishwarya ‘stole’ all the limelight.

The same year in 2005, she did Bunty and Babli, Aishwarya also starred in one of her biggest debacles, Shabd. This movie matched the caliber of the other superflop blunder Kyon Ho Gaya Na. The critics had no words to say for Shabd and audiences felt snubbed. It is such an irony that Aishwayra did Shabd and her father in law did ‘Nishabd’ in 2007. Aishwarya had quite a few steamy scenes with Sanjay Dutt, but the only thing ‘stiff’ was the box office response. Aishwarya Rai had three releases in 2006-Mistress of Spices, Umrao Jaan and Dhoom 2. Mistress of Spices was bland and Umrao Jaan was another colossal failure. Dhoom 2 showcased Aishwarya Rai in a pencil slim new look. However though the film was one of the biggest hits of 2006 and a boost to Aishwarya’s career, she did not exactly receive rave reviews. It was a Hrithik Roshan movie all the way and people cringed on seeing a malnourished Aishwarya Rai.

The year 2007 began with a bang for Aishwarya Rai both on the personal as well as professional note. Her performance in Guru, a biopic loosely based on Dhirubhai Ambani, the first big release of 2007 was widely appreciated by both the critics as well as the audience.

Though the movie mentioned above are some of the noteworthy films of Aishwarya Rai, there were a lot of movie which would have reduced her career to nothing short of ‘ash.’ Some of the forgettable turkies were Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, 23rd March 1931: Shaheed, Hum Kisise Kum Nahin, Dil Ka Rishta, Kuch Na Kaho, and Albela.

Aishwarya Rai has been a familiar face at the Cannes Film Festival since 2002. She was also a jury member at Cannes in 2003. Aishwaya Rai has also earned the distinction of being waxed eloquent, as her wax statue was carved on display in London’s Madame Tussaud's wax museum. It can be aptly said that the plastic figure was recreated into a wax model. Her first Hollywood film ‘The Last Legion’ was released in Netherlands and in Russia in April 2007. The film is supposed to hit theatres in August 2007.
